200 block of Lord St Home Entry

On Sunday May 31st, 2015, at about 2:40 PM, the Dunkirk Police Department is investigating a “forced residential entry” that happened in the 200 block of Lord St, Dunkirk, NY.  A 73 year old female victim was pushed down after answering the door for what was described as 2 Hispanic male subjects.  The heavier-set subject asked for the whereabouts of a person not known to the victim.  When they found out the victim did not know who they were asking for, they left the home.  The victim managed to call 911.  Police and Dunkirk Fire and Rescue responded and transported her to Brooks Hospital for treatment of a back injury.  Anyone with information on this incident can call the Dunkirk Police at 366-2266 or the confidential tip line at 363-0313.
Police remind you to be cautious when opening your doors to strangers, especially if alone.  If you are not sure of who is at the door, it is best to not answer.  If they persist, call 911 right away.

  1. This is mother-in-law this happened to. Please find these nasty beings of society and put them where they belong. Also I believe you guy (the police) were a little short on you narration of what happened at the house. She called 911 for a reason.
